D.O.I.

1. life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness, common good, justice, equality, diversity, truth, popular sovereignty, patriotism

2. The government must abide by these rights or else! The people must keep their rights by holding the government responsible and standing their own if their rights are violated.

3. The value of liberty protects our right of freedom of the press.

4. The value of liberty expresses our right to a free flow of information and ideas.

5. They have the responsibility to put out truthful press because of the value put on truth in the D.O.I.
